Celebrating Local Talent Bobby Latheron
When anyone is brave and creative enough to share their experience with autism in writing, or any other art, we celebrate. That Bobby Latheron is not only local, but also a colleague here at MAIN, makes us especially proud. We have known about Bobby’s talents for some time now, and are delighted to see him sharing his talent and his story with the world.
In this month’s Community Living magazine, Bobby opened up to journalist Sean Kelly about his latest ventures – a film, a podcast and a new book that he’s been working on. Read the full article to learn more about Bobby’s struggle to get an autism diagnosis, and how he has coped since. It’s brilliant to see his role at MAIN getting a mention, alongside another fantastic local support group, Autism Matters.
We hope many of our young people will read the article and be inspired by what Bobby has achieved and the ambition that he has. Good luck with all these exciting ventures Bobby, we’ll be staying tuned!
