Activity – Inbetweeners
The members of our Inbetweener Group take pleasure in game nights, movie outings, arts and crafts, and cooking. They also focus on building confidence and life skills, all while collaboratively planning their activities.
Activity
Inbetweeners, is a group of young people aged between 18 – 25 years of age, who meet at the Finlay Cooper Centre every Monday, (there are some exceptions, due to major holiday’s etc, such as Christmas) the group consists of a mixture of male and female participants all with a range of individualised neurodiverse traits, all who are really good friends, they care for each other and show great compassion and empathy to new starters; as a collective, they are part of the decision process for activities, whether that’s a trip to the Metro Centre, crabbing in Whitby or games night’s at the Finlay Cooper Centre, TS3 6EN.
These young people are amazing, they problem solve together, work together to get the best possible outcomes for the whole group and give each other the time and space to feel comfortable within the group.
Inbetweener’s have a programme of activities from budget setting to washing up after a cook-off, they achieve so much and are a true credit to MAIN.
